[Taipei, May 20, 2023] —— In response to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, SINGLE WELL INDUSTRIAL CORP. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) held a beach cleanup event at Dawulun Beach this weekend. A total of 68 employees and volunteers participated, contributing their efforts to the protection of the marine environment.
SINGLE WELL INDUSTRIAL CORP. has long been committed to practicing corporate social responsibility, and this beach cleanup event is a significant step in the company’s ESG strategy. On the day of the event, participants braved the wind and rain, starting at 8:00 AM to collect debris on the beach, sorting waste such as plastic bottles, glass shards, and metal cans. After three hours of hard work, approximately 500 kilograms of trash were cleared, giving Dawulun Beach a brand-new look.
Following the cleanup, SINGLE WELL INDUSTRIAL CORP. organized a visit for employees and volunteers to Keelung Chaojing Park and the Taipower Northern Exhibit Center. Chaojing Park is renowned for its rich marine ecology and environmental education facilities, where visitors learned about the importance of marine conservation and toured the park’s eco-friendly installations. Subsequently, the group headed to the Taipower Exhibit Center, where professional guides explained the nuclear power generation process and its environmental impact, teaching participants how to achieve energy efficiency and environmental protection in the production process.
